The University of New Mexico’s Graduate Art Association presents the Annual Silent Art Auction, to be held on Friday, November 20th from 6-9 pm at the Center for Fine Arts Downtown Studio. This event is free and open to the public.

Artworks of various media created and donated by UNM faculty, MFA students, and alumni of the MFA program will be available at the event. Live music will be provided by The New Mexico Winds Woodwind Quintet, the Artist Faculty Ensemble-in-Residence in the UNM Department of Music.

Over 40 items will be available through auction, raffle or purchase including a limited edition set of collaborative prints by current MFA student Hollis Moore and MFA candidate Sarah Vosmus, a rare 20×24″ silver-gelatin print by professor Jim Stone, a one-of-a-kind collagraph print by MFA alum Sage Dawson and a painting by current MFA student, Sam McBride, created live during the event. Proceeds benefit the Graduate Art Association, which provides exhibition, publication and professional development opportunities for AAH graduate students.
