Land Arts of the American West is currently accepting applications for Fall 2015 Program. An Informational meeting will be held in Room CFA 1018 on Feb 11 from 1 – 2

Land Arts of the American West (LAAW) is an interdisciplinary field-based, studio art program for Graduate and Advanced Undergraduate Students. LAAW engages with the ecology of place across the Southwest through Field Investigations, Research, Creative Production, and Presentation/Dissemination.

LAAW is a full-time, 12 credit hour program at the University of New Mexico. Students travel for up to six nonconsecutive weeks while camping in remote locations across the Southwest. The remainder of the semester is spent in seminar, studio, and preparing a public presentation.
