Through these photographs, which are comprised of staged scenes and found moments, both small observations and dramatic interventions, I examine my struggle between the fear of intimacy and the safety of solitude. Where others seem to feel loneliness, I feel relief.

Influenced by conventional symbols of femininity, childhood nostalgia, beauty, and death, I explore a personal narrative of navigating autonomy, dependency, and relationships, through what feels like a fragmented identity. In between these themes, I find a sublime beauty.
