After a long time of uncertainty, the finish line is finally coming into view. The world has been struck down and beaten by the coronavirus for over a year now, but slowly, we are getting back up. the world is taking a new turn and the steps to recovery are just over the horizon. A bridge between a closed off world due to this pandemic crosses over into one where people can come face to face once more.

In response to this, the art students of the University of New Mexico have chosen to present to the public an art show which both welcomes the new times that are to come while also reflecting on the harder times of this pandemic. “New Horizons” is a show brought to you by the graduating students of UNM and features pieces that these students have crafted from experiences in their lives and their most recent experiences with covid.
