When we move fast we miss the small nooks, corners, shadows, shapes, words that act like glue to this larger ecosystem. How does our slowing down allow us to think about the nuances around us? Using the viewfinder tool, which we will make together at the start of the walk, we will investigate our streets and parks and cities together at a pace that invites us to slow down and look close. With our viewfinders in hand, together we will walk and get lost in the streets, guided by a small hole in a piece of paper.
Access notes: This workshop will take the form of a (slow) walk together; we will also have a non-mobile option if that is preferred.
All materials will be provided, if you have a phone with a camera or any kind of a camera, please bring it. As well as walking shoes, sun protection and water.
