Vincent de Boer is a Dutch artist born in 1988. Fascinated by gesture and the energy of movement, he explores the boundary between writing and abstraction. While rooted in the calligraphic tradition, he continuously pushes the boundaries of language and visual expression.
Drawn to the world that opens up within a single brushstroke, he investigates the complexity of movement. His body of work reflects a deep understanding of material and technique, as well as the concentration required to master them. From this foundation, de Boer applies his distinctive style across a range of media, including works on paper, murals, and performance, exhibiting both in the Netherlands and internationally.
