Hive Mausoleum MFA solo exhibit by Jordan Jirschele

Hive Mausoleum is a body of work created by Jordan Jirschele during graduate school at the University of New Mexico. Part I, titled “Heirlooms”, addresses hereditary patterns through an immersive installation. Heirlooms have no formal gallery map, individual titles, or directed expectations. Drawing reference from alchemical manuscripts, Jungian psychology, mythology, and personal narrative, this work explores the cyclical nature of veiled intimacy and family secrecy.
