Frederick Hammersley Visiting Artist
The mission of the visiting artist program is to honor the legacy of Frederick Hammersley and expand awareness of his life and work through the establishment of links to some of the most visible painters working today.
Visiting Artists & Scholars
Several visiting artists and researchers are invited by the UNM Art Department each semester. In addition to giving workshops and seminars, these artists mentor graduate and undergraduate students one-on-one and host studio visits.
