Fabiana Comas Risquez (Caracas, Venezuela) studied at the National Experimental University of Arts in Venezuela. Between 2019 and 2021, Comas lived in the Indigenous community of Yirrkala in East Arnhem Land, Australia, where she worked for Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Centre. Her work has been exhibited in Venezuela, Mexico, Australia, the United States, and Japan. She has been an artist in residency at MASS MoCA, Massachusetts, and Laguna in Mexico City. She is a fellow artist at the RAiR Foundation in Roswell, New Mexico, USA.
